These days, our leadership group is discussing life after the pandemic. The mood is upbeat, and frequently the topic is how to meet the challenges of a recovering economy. The frustrations around retaining employees, hiring new employees, and getting material through our clogged supply chain are also top of mind.

Our group is diverse in background, gender, age, and industry. We comprise members from Florida to California. And, we represent industries from software development to manufacturing air filtering products. This diversity ensures that the ideas are always unique, resourceful, and practical. Our focus is to become better leaders. As Ken Blanchard pointed out, “No one of us is as smart as all of us.”

You and I do not have to go through challenging times alone. The leaders I know who are thriving are forward-looking and have purposely surrounded themselves with other pragmatic leaders. Together, they are making better decisions and helping each other think through complex challenges.

I believe that every leader needs this kind of community—a tribe of leaders dealing with intractable issues. I am passionate about helping entrepreneurs and business owners grow as leaders. We are about creating a better world, one leader at a time.
